Stilltale — this website and the Stilltale desktop app — is designed around not collecting your personal data.

This website

• No cookies.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
• No web fonts, CDNs, or other third-party requests.
• This site is served on Cloudflare infrastructure. As part of serving it, Cloudflare may process access logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.

The app

• The Stilltale desktop app collects no telemetry.
• Your manuscripts and project data never leave your machine.
• Update checks are anonymous and send no identifying information.

Pro license purchases

• Pro license payments are processed through the Paddle.com checkout. Your name, email address, billing details, and payment information are collected and processed by Paddle.com; this site and the Developer never receive payment details such as card numbers. See the Paddle Privacy Policy.
• To issue your license key and handle support and refunds, the Developer receives order information (email address, order number, country) from Paddle.com and uses it for those purposes only.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that involve collecting information (such as a release-notification mailing list), we will update this page to state what is collected and why.
